Character Cards for AI Roleplay

A character card is the other person. It is not a costume you wear. LucidPlay chat is written against the card in front of you.

What belongs on the card

Name, look, personality, traits, want, default situation, and example dialogue. Personality is how they think and pressure people. Appearance stays looks. Want is the motive that will collide with yours.

Chat vs scene

In chat, the writer plays that character in a thread. In a scene, the same card can share a room with others, a place, and choices. You still type your own lines and moves.

What LucidPlay does not add

There is no reusable user persona catalog to staple onto every thread. If you need a first-person detail in a scene, put it in the situation or the opening, not in a second identity product.

Test the workflow yourself.
