AI Story Continue That Does Not Repeat Itself

A useful Continue button adds ink. It should not paste the last half-finished paragraph again and call that progress.

What Continue should do

LucidPlay treats the manuscript as the source of truth. Continue writes the next passage after the last accepted prose. A cut-off line stays where you left it; the writer picks up from there.

Why stories stall

Chat-shaped writers often echo the previous beat because the prompt still contains it. A manuscript workspace can keep the page, the plot spine, and the continuity ledger in separate jobs.

A practical test

Stop mid-sentence, hit Continue, and read the join. If you see the same paragraph twice, the tool is drafting a reply, not a book. LucidPlay is built not to double that join.
